Why South Korea Gets the K4 First
As Kia’s home market, South Korea always receives new models at or before global launch. The K4’s Hwaseong plant location means local buyers benefit from:
- Shortest delivery times — typically 3–6 weeks from order to delivery
- Broadest colour and option availability from day one
- Korean-market exclusive options: digital key (using NFC smartphone unlock), integrated dashcam with cloud storage, Kia’s Korean-language AI voice assistant
Korean-Market Exclusive Technology
The Korean K4 spec sheet includes several features not offered in export markets:
- NFC Digital Key 2.0 — share car access with family via smartphone; no physical key required
- In-car Kakao / Naver Maps integration native in the infotainment system
- Rear-seat ventilated seats available on GT-Line Premium (not offered in USA/EU)
- Autonomous parking level 2 (Remote Smart Parking Assist) — standard on GT-Line Premium
